Vienna, VA cosmetic dentist, Dr. Gary Ellenbogen was named one of the Top Dentists for 2009 by the Consumer Research Council.

In 1999, Dr. Ellenbogen merged his Falls Church, Virginia practice (established in 1988) with Dental Associates to form the largest group practice in Northern Virginia. In addition to running his current Vienna dental practice, he has been a member of the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society since he began practicing dentistry.

This is where his special interest lies and he is involved with the "Give Back A Smile" program (sponsored by The American Academy Of Cosmetic Dentistry). He is also involved in charitable causes called “Knock Out Abuse Against Women” and “Make A Difference” which helps to assist those people living with cancer. He has taken thousands of hours of continuing education courses in order to keep current with the ever-changing technology and offer the best dentistry. Dr. Ellenbogen has studied cosmetic dentistry under internationally renowned cosmetic dentists Dr. William Dickerson, Dr. Ross Nash and Dr. David Hornbrook.

His full-time practice offers exceptional reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry. He also has special training to serve as a periodontist. His insistence for the best labs and materials ensures outstanding results for you. The desire for optimum results has also led him to become an Invisalign® (invisible braces) provider, which is a viable cosmetic dentistry treatment option. He relies upon cosmetic imaging with pre- and post-smile imaging so his patients will know what to expect even before their teeth have been touched. He believes the foundation of excellent cosmetic dentistry is based upon close communication between the lab, the patient and the doctor.

Dr. Ellenbogen graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University Dental School in 1979. He then worked for the Health Department in Newport, Vermont for one year, providing dental services to the underprivileged residents of the area.

Dr. Ellenbogen has been married for 26 years and has two daughters. Beyond excellent cosmetic dentistry, his interests include golf, horseback riding, and landscape photography.
